Tieto slová dodávajú nádej. Nádej, že solidarita a empatia dokážu spájať hranicami rozdelený svet. Čelíme globálnym výzvam, kladieme si globálne ciele, diskutujeme globálne témy. Často však stačí len odpovedať na konkrétne volanie – POMOC!

Keď na troskách druhej svetovej vojny vznikla OSN, bolo aj preto, aby sa jej hrôzy už nikdy nezopakovali. Pri zrode stála myšlienka, že žijeme na jednej planéte. Myšlienka, že izolované problémy neexistujú. Myšlienka, že spolu sme silnejší. Výstava sa preto zároveň koná pri príležitosti 75. výročia vzniku Organizácie spojených národov.

These words bring hope. Hope that solidarity and empathy could bring together a world divided by its borders. We are facing global challenges, setting global targets and discussing global issues. Often, it is, however, enough to respond to a specific call – HELP!

Once, on the ruins left after World War 2, UN was founded, the puropse was to ensure that such atrocities would never happen again.  It was built on the idea we all share the same planet, the idea there’s no such thing as isolated problems, the idea that we’re stronger together. This is why this exhibition also commemorates 75th Anniversary of the United Nations.
